I photographed the engagement session of Lindsey and Jared on a cold, windy, and rainy day in December. We did a half hour of engagement photos and then a half hour of family portraits in the lobby of the Benson Hotel in downtown Portland.
They were both so relaxed and natural in front my camera, even with the cold drizzle falling. After a half hour of photographing them, we went into the lobby of the Benson and took over the area in front of the fireplace to do some family portraits of Lindsey's family and the couple. Her family is so nice and accomodating and really made me feel comfortable, like I was part of their group. I can't wait to see them all again when I photograph their wedding in Cannon Beach on August 15th, 2009. Lindsey and Jared are both creative and
artistic and I'm really looking forward to the honor of being a special part of their incredible wedding day.
